Acid Reflux Can Load To Swallowing Disorders And Vocal Cord Paralysis    




Swallowing disorder may result in choking on food or delays in the food passage. Sometimes it is solved by eating slower and chewing more. But if it is caused by acid reflux, the acid from the stomach attacks the esophagus and the larynx, in which, in severe cases, it can even paralyze the vocal cords.
