Decreasing Cancer Risk If Suffering From Persistent Acid Reflux    




Persistent acid reflux permits the stomach acid to contact the delicate tissues of the esophagus. Eventually, this can turn into cancer. To treat it, the normal procedure is surgery, in which part of the esophagus is removed.
