Irritable Bowel Syndrome (Ibs) Does Not Have A Unique Treatment
The Condition Can Vary From Constipation To Diarrhea
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a mixture of several conditions that affect the time that the digestive matter takes to travel through the intestines, resulting in irregular bowel movements. One type is called IBS-C, in which the patient is usually constipated, therefore, the digestive matter takes excessive time to go through the intestines and the stools are hard for more than 25% of bowel movements and soft for less than 25% of bowel movements. IBS-D is quite the contrary, resulting in diarrhea, with soft stool in more than 25% and hard stool in less than 25% of bowel movements.
