Even though garlic makes food taste better and is beneficial for the body, eating it daily can lead to harmful side effects. It can affect the liver, which is responsible for protein metabolism, blood purification, fat metabolism, and removing ammonia from the body. Garlic contains a compound called allicin, which can be toxic to the liver if ingested in large quantities.
